<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring route optimizing device can automatically check a wiring route in a ceiling for an elevator car, and thus shorten a time for wiring work and suppress a variation of the route depending at each operator. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This wiring route optimizing device 3 optimizing the wiring route in a ceiling for the elevator car is provided with an operating section 4 for inputting information on an elevator becoming an object of wiring work, a control section 3a calculating the most suitable wiring route of the car in the ceiling and a predicted working time (detailed working time) for each step in relation to wiring based on the wiring route based on the information of the elevator input in the operating section 4, and a display section 5 displaying the most suitable wiring route of the car in the ceiling 8 and the predicted working time for each step of the wiring calculated in the control section 3a.
