PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide bandwidth attenuation circuit which can attain suitable gain characteristics in wide bandwidth even in a high frequency band. SOLUTION: A wide bandwidth attenuation circuit 100 is configured by arranging a resistance portion 110 having a plurality of chip resistors 111 between a line pattern 101 and a ground pattern 102. The chip resistors 111 can be arranged while changing the number of stages in the resistance portion 110. The wide bandwidth attenuation circuit 100 can adjust the attenuation amount by changing the resistance of each chip resistor 111. In addition, the attenuation amount of the wide bandwidth attenuation circuit 100 can also be changed by changing the number of stages of the chip resistors 111 arranged in the resistance portion 110.
