PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress pole erase by the structure of a simple magnetic storage head without requiring microfabrication in a perpendicular magnetic head and a perpendicular magnetic storage device. SOLUTION: The central position of the first read element in a plurality of read elements is shifted from the central position center of a write element by approximately a half of a track width, and also shifted from the central positions of the other read elements in the plurality of read elements.
