Office chair with backrest and seat supports has sliding axle, swivel axles, compression spring and elongated hole guides. The backrest support (5) and seat support (6) are swivel mounted on a horizontal axle on a fixed chair-support (3), with a synchronized tilt adjustment. The supports operate with increasing tilt against the increasing restoring force of a helical compression spring (8) positioned beneath the seat support. The backrest support is linked by a first swivel axle (10) to the rear part of the chair-support and has a rigid turning-arm (11) linked by a second swivel axle (12) to the rear part of the seat support. The front part of the seat support and of the fixed chair support are joined y a third swivel axle. One of the three swivel axles acts as a sliding axle (13) movably mounted in elongated hole guides as radial cams (14) in the fixed chair support. |
