PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head which can assure a sealing performance even when the deformation of a sealing member should arise. SOLUTION: A recording head is equipped with a head case 3 having a case channel 11, an ink introducing unit which has an ink introducing way for introducing an ink into the case channel side, and a seal member 8 which has a communication port 44 for making the ink introducing way communicate with the case channel and is arranged between the head case and the ink introducing unit. In the recording head, the communication port was formed in the both ends of the sealing member in the longitudinal direction, respectively, and the first and second positioning holes 46, 47 specifying the placement position to the head case were established in both sides of each communication port in the longitudinal direction of the sealing member, respectively.
