<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method capable of forming a stable toner coat layer even in use of substances upon high-speed printing irrespective of image printing ratio. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming method, which forms a toner image by charging an electrostatic charge image carrier 101 for carrying a charge image, forming an electrostatic charge image on the charged electrostatic charge image carrier, and developing the electrostatic charge image by using a toner on a developing sleeve 102, the developing sleeve is coated with an Ni plating layer containing a metal element of electronegativity of≥2.00, at least on the uppermost surface of the sleeve, the toner contains at least a binder resin and magnet, the charging amount distribution of the toner has a peak in the range of≥20.0 to≤35.0 mC/kg as absolute value in an environment of temperature 23°C and relative humidity 50%, the standard deviation of the distribution is≥20.0 and the presence amount of the toner charged with reverse polarity in the environment is≤2.0 number%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
