<p>Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a casing structural member able to prevent fluid leakage, the method comprising the following steps: a first step for forming a first preformed article 42 comprising a coupling part-forming portion 16d and a flat portion 21; a second step for forming a second preformed article 44 having a coupling part-forming portion 16d of greater bending depth and a flat portion 21 of narrower width than the first preformed article 42; a third step for forming a third preformed article 36 having a coupling part-forming portion 16d, an inclined flat portion 34, and a narrow-width flat portion 35; a fourth step for forming a fourth preformed article 37, wherein the inclined flat portion 34 of the third preformed article 36 is pushed upward and material is gathered within a connection portion between the inclined flat portion 35 and a side wall of the coupling part-forming portion 16d; a fifth step for forming a fifth preformed article 39, wherein pressure is applied to the side wall of the coupling part-forming portion 16d of the fourth preformed article 37, the inclined flat portion 34 and the narrow width flat portion 35 from above and below, and a burr 38 is formed in an open end portion between the two side walls of the coupling part-forming portion 16d; and a sixth step for removing the burr 38 to form a casing structure member 16.</p> |
