PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reduction in height of an apparatus body and to secure visibility of a monitor. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: the apparatus body 2; the monitor 4 coupled to the apparatus body 2; and a hinge mechanism 3 including a supporting member 23 for supporting the monitor 4 freely turnably with respect to the apparatus body 2 in which a mounting part 36 mounted on the apparatus body 2 freely turnably is formed in one end, and a supporting part 38 for supporting a monitor 4 is formed in another end.
