PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen permeation apparatus that can maintain stable hydrogen permeation for a long time in a temperature range where Pd is in aβ-phase. SOLUTION: The hydrogen permeation apparatus is equipped with: a hydrogen permeation film comprising a structural body including palladium or a palladium alloy, or a hydrogen storing metal except for palladium or a hydrogen storing alloy except for palladium alloys, and a substance having a relatively lower work function compared to the above materials, and a nuclear transformation substance layer; an introduction chamber and a permeation chamber; a deuterium gas introduction section introducing deuterium gas into the introduction chamber; an introduction chamber evacuating section including an introduction chamber evacuation pipe connected to the introduction chamber and an introduction chamber evacuation valve disposed in the introduction chamber evacuation pipe; and a permeation amount measuring section including a vacuum pump connected to the permeation chamber and a vacuum gauge disposed in the vacuum pump.
