<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor for suppressing decline of permeability in a high-temperature environment, and improving reliability by reducing a probability that a filter is damaged, while securing sufficient permeability. <P>SOLUTION: This gas sensor includes a filter unit 200 mounted on an air hole 121 so that at least a part of an opening 205 is exposed to the rear end side of a grommet 120, which includes an inside member 201 formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape, and having a plurality of apertures 202 along the circumferential direction; a filter member 203 provided on the outside of the inside member 201, for covering the outside part of the apertures 202; and an outside member 204 provided outside the filter member 203, holding the filter member 203 between itself and the inside member 201, and having the opening 205 corresponding to the apertures 202. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
