摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a negative electrode for a lithium-ion battery having sufficient charge/discharge capacity and superior high speed charge/discharge characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the negative electrode for the lithium-ion battery includes (i) a step in which a compound with an aromatic ring is electrolytic oxidation-polymerized to form a fibril-like polymer on a conductive substrate 1, (ii) a step in which the fibril-like polymer is calcined to form a carbon fiber 2 on the conductive substrate 1, (iii) a step in which the carbon fiber 2 is covered with conductive metal 3, (iv) a step in which metal 4 capable of storing/releasing lithium is carried on the conductive metal 3, and (v) a step in which heat treatment is performed in a temperature range of 200 to 900&deg;C in vacuum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
