PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetically sealed scroll compressor capable of improving sliding and sealing properties. SOLUTION: The hermetically sealed scroll compressor 1 includes a low pressure chamber 9 in which a fixed scroll 2, a turning scroll 3, a frame 5, a crankshaft 6, and a motor 7 are stored in a hermetic container 8, whereby suction gas is introduced into an outer region of the frame 5 in the hermetic container 8, and a back pressure chamber 11 for maintaining the pressure in the back side region of the turning scroll 3 in the frame 5 to between a discharge pressure and a suction pressure. The compressor 1 further includes an oil feed passage 6b formed in the crankshaft 6 for supplying lubricating oil stored in the low pressure chamber 9 to the inside of a boss part 3a of the turning scroll 3, an oil groove 3d corned in a C shape over the entire periphery of a sliding face of an end plate 3a of the turning scroll 3 and intermittently communicating with an operating chamber accompanying turning of the turning scroll 3, and an oil feed hole 3e formed in the turning scroll 3 to directly communicate the inside of a boss part 3c and the oil groove 3d of the turning scroll 3.
