PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor excellent in sensitivity characteristics by using a charge transport agent excellent in solubility in an organic solvent and in compatibility with a binder resin. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer containing a charge generating agent and the charge transport agent, wherein the charge transport agent includes a specific hydrazone derivative.
