<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for an air conditioner capable of minimizing degradation of cleaning ability of a filter. <P>SOLUTION: This indoor unit 2 for the air conditioner 1 has the filter 21, a filter drive section 23, a brush 72, a brush drive section 73, and a control section 80. The filter 21 removes dust from air passing through the filter 21. The filter drive section 23 moves the filter 21. The brush 72 is in contact with the filter 21 and removes dust from the filter 21. The brush drive section 73 can rotate the brush 72. The control section 80 controls the brush drive section 73 so that, when the brush 21 satisfies a first predetermined condition, a portion at which the brush 72 is in contact with the filter 21 is moved by rotation of the brush 72 by a predetermined first angle. Further, the control section 80 completes the movement of the filter 21 under a second predetermined condition, and rotates the brush 72 by a predetermined second angle after the completion of the movement of the filter 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
