摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a member for micronizing fused glass drops, capable of stabilizing qualities of a glass gob or a glass compact produced by minimizing the fluctuation of the position at the time of supplying microdrops of fused glass to a drag; and to provide a method for producing a glass gob by using a micronizing member of such fused glass drops and a method for producing a glass compact. SOLUTION: The member for micronizing fused glass drops has a through-hole and is used for obtaining microdrops of fused glass by causing a part of fused glass drops to pass through the through-hole to separate the same by causing the fused glass drops to collide with the inner circumference face of the through-hole. In the micronizing member, a collision face which collides with molten glass drops is a taper face of which the path spreads toward the entrance side of molten glass drops, the opening angle of the taper face being in a range of 15°-28°.
