<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of extension of a cable rack which enables extension of cables even if an existing cable rack has no extra space in its lateral direction. <P>SOLUTION: The method of extension of the cable rack is provided. The cable rack includes a first rack body 2 supporting cables and a support member 5 supporting the first rack body 2 on a frame. At least one tier of second rack body 12 is disposed at least above or below the first rack body 2.
