Reluctance motor

The reluctance motor has a rotor (3) and a stator, whereby the rotor has rotor segments (10) that are essentially rectangular in free-standing regions with a circular section shaped end (12) and a transition between the ends and the opposing flat sides (13) that is rounded in plan view. The transitions in the peripheral direction are formed on the other side of a linear extension of the flat sides in each case.
