<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which has a favorable cleaning property, does not form a film on the surface of a photosensitive body, and has excellent transferability. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device has an image carrier, an electrification means, an exposure means, a development means, a transfer means, a fixing means, and a cleaning means to clean a transfer residual toner. The cleaning means is a blade-type elastic member which makes its tip abut against the image carrier, where the abutting part of the image carrier and the elastic member has a contact pressure of 2-8 MPa. The toner has a binder resin, a coloring agent, a release agent, an external additive, and a layered inorganic mineral given by denaturing at least some of interlayer ions with organic ions, and is given through a surface treatment process to process the toner surface with a fluorine-containing quaternary ammonium salt compound in an aqueous medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
