<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate assemblage while ensuring insulation and waterproofness, and to cope with joints of various diameters, shapes and numbers of branches by one kind of case while reducing the cost. <P>SOLUTION: A closure 130 for forming a joint 120 of a cable by joining the ends of a power cable 110, to which compression terminals 121 are fixed, through a bolt 122 and a nut 124 projects the power cable 110 from the end faces 131 and 132 and includes the joint 120 and a part continuous thereto in a hollow section 140. A joint arrangement portion 150 is partitioned from the periphery which is filled with gel 160 in the hollow section 140 of the closure 130 and when first and second cases 130a and 130b are closed, the gel 160 flows out from a gap between the end faces 131, 132 and the power cable 110 and flows also into the joint arrangement portion 150. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
