PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a stretch release tape having good stretchability at a lower cost by forming an adhesive layer directly on the surface of a tape substrate. SOLUTION: A foamed sheet of a crosslinked polyolefin resin crosslinked with a metallocene catalyst is used as the tape substrate 2 of the stretch release tape 1, and an adhesive agent is applied directly on the surface of the sheet.
