A device for testing fatigue of a bogie for a railway vehicle and a method for protecting the railway vehicle using the same are provided to prevent a train safety accident like the derailment. A device for testing fatigue of a bogie for a railway vehicle comprises: an acceleration sensors(110) installed at each units of the bogie for the railway vehicle; an input signal converter(120) digitizing an acceleration value measured in the acceleration sensor; a digital signal processor(130) converting the acceleration value digitized in the input signal convertor into the vibration property of the frequency domain; and a microprocessor(140) analyzing the vibration property inputted through the digital signal processor.
