The present invention relates to a fixed tape measure having a speed-decreasing function including an embedded blade coiled up around a bobbin elastically rotated inside a casing by a plate spring wound inside the casing and an end hook joined to the end of the blade and exposed to the outside through a taking-out hole formed on the lower part of one lateral surface of the casing. The present invention is characterized by additionally including a speed-decreasing means inducing a decrease in a returning speed of the blade when the blade is uncoiled from the bobbin and taken out to the outside through the taken-out hole and, thereafter, the blade is returned to an original position by being coiled up around the bobbin by an elastic force of the plate spring and the end hook approaches the taken-out hole. The present invention is capable of buffering or preventing impact generated by a collision between the casing and the blade using the speed-decreasing means capable of decreasing the returning speed of the blade by being rubbed with the returning blade while being in contact with the blade when the blade coiled up around the bobbin and taken out is returned. Accordingly, the present invention is capable of stably preventing damage to a product normally generated in the process that the blade is returned and increasing the application of the product to a common use by forming the speed-decreasing means extremely simple. Furthermore, the present invention is capable of solving problems causing dangers to a user or people around the user due to a normal speed increase of the blade by inducing a speed decrease of the blade using the speed-decreasing means, thereby ensuring the safety of using the device. |
