PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or appropriately control the internal hemorrhage caused by the puncture by an internal hemorrhage detecting apparatus. SOLUTION: The internal hemorrhage detecting apparatus 700 comprises an armrest 714 for placing an arm 712 of a donor; a near infrared LED 738 for irradiating the arm 712 rested on the armrest 714 with near infrared rays; and a near infrared camera 736 for continuously imaging a position of the arm 712 to which the near infrared rays are applied. An analysis range 776 is extracted from a comparison image 774 captured by the near infrared camera 736, and the area A2 of the position where the luminance is lower than a prescribed threshold is found.
