The invention relates to a gas oven comprising a cooking chamber (10), at least one gas burner (11) for heating the cooking chamber (10) and a gas supply line (16, 16b) for the burner (11). A lighting means (12) may light the burner (11), at least one solenoid valve (22) is fitted to the gas supply line (16, 16b) upstream of the burner (11) and the solenoid valve control means (15) open and close the solenoid valve (22) such as to supply the burner (11) fully or not at all. The above is of use for carrying a pyrolysis cleaning of the cooking chamber. |
