A wick (3) is immersed into the liquid fuel, where a cladding of the wicks is provided within an area, where the wicks emerge from the retainer. The cladding is not vulnerable through a sealing from a liquid fuel, and is made of a combustible solid material. The combustible solid material penetrates superficially into wick material, and is firmly connected with the wick.
