<p>Provided is a motor, which can be more miniaturized but can output a high torque although miniaturized. The motor (1) comprises a rotor (10) including a permanent magnet (11) and a spindle (13), and a stator (20) including a pair of magnetic pole members (53) having a plurality of magnetic poles, casings (31) and coils (25), and arranged to enclose the rotor (10). The magnetic pole members (53) have flange portions (53a) and polar teeth protruded in the axial direction from the inner circumference edges of the flange portions (53a). The individual polar teeth of the paired magnetic pole members (53) are arranged alternately in a noncontact manner, and the coils (25) are housed in the recesses formed by the paired magnetic pole members (53). These magnetic pole members (53) are gouged in the coil-side faces of the flange portions (53a) but at portions excepting outer edge portions (53c). As a result, the polar teeth of the magnetic pole members (53) can be made longer in the extent of the gouged portions of the flange portions (53a) than those of the prior art.</p> |
