The device may have signal processor configured to combine signals from the two sensors to provide an event message that may be used to interface with a software package such as a music synthesizer package, or a software package for setting up a music synthesizer package. The device may also have a position sensor configured to provide a signal representative of a position of the air sensor relative to a fiducial that may be a plane of a surface of a component of the device.
