CARRIER ASSISTING DEVICE AND CARRIER MOUNTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier assisting device allowing not only reduction of burden loaded on an operator when traveling a carrier but also realizing of simplification of a control system and reduction of cost, and to provide the carrier mounting the carrier assisting device. SOLUTION: This carrier assisting device assists traveling of a conveyance stretcher 1. The carrier assisting device is provided with: a driving wheel 11 landed on a floor surface F to impart driving force to the conveyance stretcher 1; a rear part side operation part 20R arranged in a rear part of the conveyance stretcher 1 to rotate and operate the driving wheel 11 in a forward direction by an operation in a direction to advance the carrier and control the driving force according to the adjustment of the operation; and a front part side operation part 20F arranged in a front part of the conveyance stretcher 1 to rotate and operate the driving wheel 11 in a retreating direction by an operation in a direction to retreat the carrier and control the driving force according to the adjustment of the operation.
