PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a motor which ensures a magnetic path of a permanent magnet, obtains caulking strength which is sufficient to couple laminated electromagnetic steel sheets, and which also obtains IPM rotor of a caulking position and will not cause working strain on a magnet insertion hole, or the like, which are perforated in the axial direction. SOLUTION: With regard to the IPM rotor inserted into the magnet insertion holes 2, which set a plurality of permanent magnets 4 in a laminated core 1, in the axial direction at a prescribed space near the periphery of the laminated core 1, comprising laminating of the electromagnetic steel sheets, with the laminated electromagnetic steel sheets of the laminated core 1 being coupled and fastened by the caulking work of the electromagnetic steel sheets. Caulking positions 7 of the caulking work are set inside a polygon 8, demarcated by extending longer sides of the periphery side of the laminated core 1 of the embedded permanent magnets 4, and the beeline between holes perforating the magnet inserting holes, or the like, in the axial direction and the periphery of caulking portions is set so as that even the shortest is three or more times the sheet thickness of the electromagnetic steel sheet.
