摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll paper supply mechanism of a storage width variable type always suitably stores roll paper without being affected by variations in the paper width of the roll paper. SOLUTION: In the roll paper supply mechanism 10 of a roll paper printer 1, when the first side wall 41 is moved in the storage width direction to adjust the paper storage width of a roll paper compartment 11, a roll paper urging member 46 disposed to the first side wall 41 is held in a neutral position 46C between a protruding position 46A and retracted position 46B. After adjustment, the roll paper urging member 46 still has a range of movement in the protruding direction and the retracting direction. Even roll paper 12 that is stored has variations, this range of movement in either direction absorbs the variations in the paper width by the movement in either direction. The roll paper supply mechanism of the storage width variable type can therefore hold the paper roll 12 without play and with appropriate pressure applied. A machine glazed paper energizing member 46 mounted on a first side wall 41 is held at a neutral position 46C between a projecting position 46A and a retreating position 46B in moving the first side wall 41 in the storage cross direction to adjust storage width of a machine glazed paper storage part 11 on this machine glazed paper feeding mechanism 10 of a machine glazed paper printer 1. A moving flap of the machine glazed paper energizing member 46 remains in the projecting direction and the retreating direction at a position after adjustment. It is possible to absorb the dispersion of the paper width by the moving flap in the both directions even when there is the dispersion in the paper width of the machine glazed paper 12 to be stored. It is possible to realize the storage width variable type machine glazed paper feeding mechanism capable of storing the machine glazed paper 12 in the state pressurized by prescribed energizing force without backlash.
