<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum high frequency tool for performing multiple treatments of at least mucosal dissection and stanching. <P>SOLUTION: In a state where maximally protruding a high frequency knife 13 from a flexible sheath 2, mucosal dissection treatment is performed and the stanching treatment is performed to a bleeding part generated during the treatment. The electrode member 14 of the high frequency knife 13 is provided with a rod portion 14a and a spherically bulged portion 14b, and the maximum protrusion length from the flexible sheath 2 of the electrode member 14 is changed corresponding to the total thickness of a mucous membrane and a submucosal layer. The outer diameter dimension of the spherically bulged portion 14b is changed corresponding to the maximum protrusion length, and the operability of both mucosal dissection and stanching is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
