PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device sealing material, a device sealed with the same, and its manufacturing method capable of providing dehumidification effect, preventing generation of a dark spot of an organic EL, and sealing various kinds of devices. SOLUTION: The device sealing material comprises a laminate C formed of a base material layer A, and a moisture-proof layer B obtained by irradiating an energy beam on unsaturated carboxylic acid metal salt. In the manufacturing method of the sealed device, the device is housed and sealed with the moisture-proof layer B of the device sealing material turned inside. The moisture-proof layer B of the device sealing material, or in the manufacturing method of the device is obtained by irradiating the energy beam on the unsaturated carboxylic acid metal salt, and also on a coating liquid containing metallic alkoxide and/or a hydroxy group-containing polymer.
