<p>A method for a stacking system merging is disclosed. The method includes: the link circuits of the stacking system in mergence are linked; after the linking is changed, the stacking interface equipment distributes the stacking group reporting which marking the stacking information of the stacking system of the linking equipment for the linked equipment; the stacking interface equipment is stacking equipment which carries the operations of switching-off and switching-on; each of the stacking system selects an optimal stacking system according to the stacking information; the optimal stacking system maintains the existing operation, and the equipment of the other stacking system which participating in mergence is combined with the optimal stacking system after performing operation of business restarting or equipment restarting according to the stacking information of the optimal stacking system. When the stacking system is merging, the running of the optimal stacking system is not affected absolutely and the other stacking system joined the optimal stacking system as a new equipment. This solution controls the network simply, and reduces the stacking system turbulence which is generated after stacking of the stacking system, and strengthens the network's stability.</p> |
