PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of performing high-speed data reading in an optical disk drive faster in reading in the outer areas than in the inner areas, and to provide a read control method. SOLUTION: The information processor records the data in the forward delay address in a flash memory 110, when there is a forward delay address on the optical disk, which may develop forward delay in the data transfer speed that the moving image reproducing application 34 requires on the optical disk. The data up to the additive address located a certain distance outward from the forward delay address are stored in the flash memory 110. When the read address is in the forward delay address on the optical disk, the data corresponding to the read address stored in the flash memory 110 are read. When the read address is in the additive address on the optical disk, the data corresponding to the read address stored in the flash memory 110 are read, and the rotating speed of the optical disk is increased to a predetermined speed.
