PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic grinding device which can automatically grind a workpiece, and achieves grinding with stable quality. SOLUTION: The automatic grinding device 100 has two bifurcated transmission passage systems for transmitting running torque of a motor M. A driving system of one of the transmission passage systems includes rotary bodies 2, 31 for linkage, and a link rod 6 having one end 6a thereof rockably attached to the rotary bodies 2, 31 for linkage, and the other end 6b thereof rockably attached to a pinion 3. In a driving system of the other transmission passage system, a skidding mechanism 20 for canceling the running torque is arranged, and a slide mechanism 10 is fixed to a skidding rotary body 4 to which the skidding mechanism 20 is connected, or to an engaging rotary body 5 engaging with the skidding rotary body 4. Further a slide stand 8 of the slide mechanism 10 has a brush 7 fixed thereto, and a rack portion 8b formed thereon, which rack portion 8b is engaged with the pinion 3.
