PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration in the reception characteristics of a specific resource element. SOLUTION: A wireless communication system consists of a wireless transmission device and a wireless reception device which receives multicarrier signals transmitted by the wireless transmission device via a plurality of antennae. The wireless transmission device includes a mapping section which assigns signals to be transmitted to subcarriers transmitted from the antennae so that the signals may be transmitted using alternately different antennae for each subcarrier. The wireless reception device includes a decoding section which decodes the received signals using estimated values for propagation paths from the alternately different antennae for each subcarrier.
