A compressing diaphragm pump comprises a hollow tubular air discharge assembly 100, connected to the wall of the water exit port 64 on the top upper hood 60 of the diaphragm pump, having a plunger body 200 and compressed spring disposed therein. When air is mixed with the pressurized water, the resilient force of the compressed spring will push the plunger baffle 202 of the plunger body 200 forwards so that the air mixed in the pressurized water will get into the air passage 204 and pass the plunger 200 to be dispelled out of the upper hood 60 via the air discharge orifice 104 of the air discharge assembly 100. The air discharge assembly 100 may be removable and may be attached via a screw thread. The air in the water can be automatically expelled to regulate the water pressure and the internal components can be simplified. Also disclosed is a water discharge port and a water inlet port whose top surfaces are convex (see figures 21-24). |
