The small lower belt (12) is located in a region of the drawing zone (1) between the two clamping- or nip lines (10, 11) of the roller pairs (4, 5) used for stretching. In this position the belt (12) does not run through either of the roller clamping lines. It is located after the clamping line (10) of the first roller pair (4) and ahead of the clamping line (11) of the second roller pair (5). The lower belt is driven through contact with the upper belt (13).
