<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing an elastic roller that forms an elastic layer into a desired shape with high accuracy at reduced cost. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing the elastic roller 1 manufactures the elastic roller ER provided with the elastic layer EL around a stick like shaft member SH. The apparatus for manufacturing the elastic roller includes; rotating means 2, 3 and 4 rotating the shaft member on its axis, a material coating means 10 which is arranged to face the shaft member and for ejecting the material forming the elastic layer from a die section and coating to a circumferential surface of the shaft member, a layer thickness adjusting means 30 which has a contact section 31 to come into contact with the circumferential surface of the shaft member and which has the distance from a center of the shaft set to be adjustable in the direction of a diameter of the shaft member and adjusting the layer thickness in the coating layer of the material which is coated by the material coating means, and shaft direction moving means 5, 6 and 7 which at least move the shaft member and the layer thickness adjusting means relatively in the shaft direction of the shaft member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
