PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor which attenuates the vibration from a reduction gear, and absorbs the vibration associated with the eccentricity and the inclination of an input shaft and an output shaft of the reduction gear. SOLUTION: In the in-wheel motor 11, a stator 15, a rotor 16, a motor housing 14, and a reduction gear 21 connected to the rotor 16 are arranged in a wheel 18 of a wheel 12, and the in-wheel motor drives the wheel 12 via the reduction gear 21. The reduction gear 21 has a reduction gear case 51 connected to the motor housing 14, and the reduction gear 21 is formed of a material of more excellent vibration attenuation than that of the motor housing 14.
