PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-fiber optical connector on which optical fiber holes are formed in a plurality of lines on the connecting end face, in which optical fibers are efficiently inserted into the optical fiber holes on assembly and a high density is provided. SOLUTION: The multi-fiber optical connector 12A is provided with a ferrule 12 having a plurality of optical fiber holes 6 arranged in a plurality of lines and open on a connecting end face 4. The bared end part 1a of a single core coated optical fiber 1 can be inserted into each optical fiber hole 6. The optical fiber holes 6 are formed at the positions corresponding to the end parts 1a so that a plurality of coated optical fibers 1 are most densely arranged in the ferrule 12.
