PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope in which an angle portion can be safely bent by small force. SOLUTION: The angle portion is bent by pulling by a pulling means such as a wire, by manipulating a manipulation means, and manipulative force applied to the manipulation means for bending the angle portion is detected and the pulling by the pulling means is assisted according to the manipulative force.
