<p>A method of manufacturing a rotary compressor is provided to improve hardness[HRC] of a rolling piston and to prevent the rolling piston from being worn away due to sliding motion with a cylinder or a vein. A method of manufacturing a rotary compressor comprises steps of: quenching grey cast iron in which the chrome(Cr) is comprised for predetermined time at 885-915°C; leaving the dipped grey cast iron for predetermined time at constant temperature and cooling it; tempering the cooled grey cast iron for the predetermined time at 215-245°C; and cooling the tempered grey cast iron at constant temperature. The step for hardening the grey cast iron is performed for 90-150 minutes. The cooling step of the dipped grey cast iron is performed at 45-65°C.</p> |
