PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing box which can flexibly cope with problems regarding carrying load resistance which could happen right before the starting of the mass-production of an electric product as the first time, and can increase the carrying load resistance without using a reinforcing member which is separately manufactured only when required. SOLUTION: A lid plate section 20 is formed from two inner flaps 21 and 22 and two outer flaps 23 and 24. The widthwise end parts of the inner flaps are provided with support pieces 60, which will be located in the widthwise middle of a box body 10 and between the lid plate section 20 and a bottom plate section 30. The support pieces 60 are formed by making cuts in the inner flaps 21 and 22, and section the inner flaps 21 and 22. Projecting portions are provided for the support pieces 60. The projecting portions 60 are inserted into insertion holes 35 made in the inner flaps 31 and 32 of the bottom plate section 30, thereby restricting the positions of the support pieces 60.
