#CMT# #/CMT# The air spring (1) has a conical rolling piston (4) including a rolling surface (5) for a rolling fold (6) of rolling air bellows (3). A closure head (2) includes a rolling surface (9) for another rolling fold (7) of the bellows. Pressure-effective diameter (DW2) of the surface (9) is aligned with pressure-effective diameter (DW1) of the surface, so that the diameters are equal during a spring deflection process, and an equilibrium condition of pressure-effective surfaces exists at the piston and the head, to form the folds. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Air spring for a motor vehicle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The pressure-effective diameters are aligned with each other so that the diameters are equal during the spring deflection process, and the equilibrium condition of the pressure-effective surfaces exists at the piston and the head, to form the folds, thus avoiding springing of the rolling fold corresponding to the closure head, and preventing the air spring from passing on to a folding-rolling bellows.
