PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a stapler retainer for retaining a staple in a stapler charger without adding a new mounting part and largely changing the design. SOLUTION: This stapler comprises a staple retainer 40 for retaining the staple by pressing the staple driven from the staple driving hole 12 of a magazine 3 against the inner wall of the magazine 3. The staple retainer 40 is locked to the front mounting part 3d of the magazine 3 and mounted in the magazine 3 by a spring guide 6a having a pusher for pressing the staple against the head of the stapler.
