METHOD OF ALLOCATING RESOURCE REGION TO REDUCE MAP OVERHEAD

A method of resource region allocation is provided to solve a problem caused by the different awareness for transmission region between a terminal and a fixed station. A terminal transmits a VoIP packet to a fixed station through a first transmission region allocated by the fixed station(S401). The fixed station allocates a second transmission region to the terminal by using control message(S402). The terminal renews the second transmission region included in the control message as a new transmission region(S403). The terminal transmits an ACK signal to the fixed station as a response to the received the control message(S404). The terminal transmits the VoIP packet to the fixed station through the second transmission region allocated by the fixed station(S405).
