PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an initial capacity and improve charge/discharge cycle characteristics in a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using an electrode formed by aerosol deposition method.

SOLUTION: The electrode for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a current collector 1; an active material layer 2 formed by providing aerosol containing active material particles to the current collector 1. The aerosol is prepared by intermittently supplying gas to a receptacle in which the active material particles are contained, and bonding strength between the current collector 1 and the active material layer 2 is 1 MPa or more.
