<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer electrolyte membrane for a fuel cell, which can be used stably for a long time by suppressing the elution of an acid in an anode of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The polymer electrolyte membrane is formed in a multilayer membrane by coating a non-humidified polymer electrolyte membrane comprising a first polymer matrix and an acid with an anion immobilized substance, and the fuel cell is manufactured by using this, thereby: preventing dissolution of the acid; and sustainably keeping the effect of the fuel cell for a long time to obtain economic and environmental gain. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
