The arrangement has a temperature-sensitive adjusting element cooperating with a drive piston (13) and formed as a metallic component (11). A switching unit (21) e.g. optical measuring section, limits stroke movement of the piston. The unit disconnects power supply at the unit based on connection of a positive temperature co-efficient (PTC) resistor (14) with a power supply unit during reaching a position corresponding to a preset stroke. The unit switches-on power supply during abandonment of the position, and has a moveable part coupled with a spring plate (20) that carries the resistor.
